Frozen Margaritas
It’s five o’clock some where right? I made margaritas a few nights ago when it was taco night. Margaritas are my absolute favorite cocktail and I have perfect the recipe. The key to a really good margarita is fresh lime juice, it’s a must and totally worth the time. I promise you will not be disappointed with this recipe. The next key ingredient to the perfect margarita is Silver Tequila, not gold yuk. My favorite tequila to use is Patron. Yes I know it’s a little pricey but its worth the few extra bucks. It will last for a long time, I have had the same bottle in my cabinet since August and I still have enough for a couple batches. This only if you aren’t drinking margaritas every night.
Every time we have taco the kids always want me to make fresh salsa and guacamole. They even have their own guacamole song and dance. Check out the video below. I laugh every time I watch it, they are just too funny.
Ingredients
1 cup Fresh Lime Juice (it’s The Best And Worth The Time)
¾ cups Tequila
½ cups Triple Sec
3 Tablespoons Frozen Limeade
2 Tablespoons Sugar (optional) I Like Mine A Little Sweet
2-½ cups IceDirections
Preparation is really easy. Toss everything into the blender and blend until smooth.
Serve with a salt or sugar rimmed glass and enjoy!
Keep any leftovers in the freezer.

H-O-T Cocoa
I love hot cocoa! Today was the perfect day to make this rich creamy hot cocoa! When we got out of our warm beds this morning there was snow on the ground and it was 20 degrees outside with a high of 30 degrees. I was already planning to make hot cocoa today to go with our homemade marshmallows that we made last night, having snow on the ground made it the perfect morning. Of course the first thing the kids did was get dressed to go outside. They couldn’t find their gloves so their hands were red and frozen when they came in. They lasted about 20 minutes and they were done, time for hot cocoa! This recipe is one of my own. Hot cocoa isn’t hard to make just a few ingredients warmed up and that’s it.Printable Recipe
