Frozen Margaritas
It’s five o’clock some where right? I made margaritas a few nights ago when it was taco night. Margaritas are my absolute favorite cocktail and I have perfect the recipe. The key to a really good margarita is fresh lime juice, it’s a must and totally worth the time. I promise you will not be disappointed with this recipe. The next key ingredient to the perfect margarita is Silver Tequila, not gold yuk. My favorite tequila to use is Patron. Yes I know it’s a little pricey but its worth the few extra bucks. It will last for a long time, I have had the same bottle in my cabinet since August and I still have enough for a couple batches. This only if you aren’t drinking margaritas every night.
Every time we have taco the kids always want me to make fresh salsa and guacamole. They even have their own guacamole song and dance. Check out the video below. I laugh every time I watch it, they are just too funny.
Ingredients
1 cup Fresh Lime Juice (it’s The Best And Worth The Time)
¾ cups Tequila
½ cups Triple Sec
3 Tablespoons Frozen Limeade
2 Tablespoons Sugar (optional) I Like Mine A Little Sweet
2-½ cups IceDirections
Preparation is really easy. Toss everything into the blender and blend until smooth.
Serve with a salt or sugar rimmed glass and enjoy!
Keep any leftovers in the freezer.

Day Two of Kitchen Tools and Gadgets
For day two I have a great product from OXO. A few months ago I was given the opportunity to test the OXO Top Container, therefor they are my pick for day two. I was chosen from Twitter by @oxogoodgrips. OXO asked who would like to test their latest product and I simply relied “pick me, pick me” and they did! A couple of weeks later I received eight bowls ranging from sizes that hold 1.7 cups to 12.7 cups, some were square, some were rectangular, some were small and some were large. I fell in love with the Top Containers! They are nothing like any other Tupperware bowl on the market. They are airtight, leak proof and water tight. Trust me when I say water tight. Since I was testing this the container I put them through a pretty tough test. The kid proof test! My youngest, Kameron 20 months old did an excellent job testing the containers and the box they arrived in. I filled a couple of bowls up water and let him play with them. He threw the bowls, he stood on the bowls, he sat on the bowls and they never leaked, not one drop of water. He played with them for at least and hour standing and sitting on them most of the time and they were normally upside down. These containers are great, they can be used in the pantry, freezer or refrigerator. I’m so glad I was chosen to test the Top Containers!
